Let’s salute the Nation on this auspicious day.

75 th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Sai Holy Faith High School. The school was decorated with tricolor saffron, white and green wall hangings,beautiful notice boards were lovely treat for everyone's eyes .

The ceremony started at 8.30 AM in the school assembly hall with large crowd of staff,students and parents.

To commemorate the sovereignty of our Nation, Principal of our School, Madam Sadhana Singh unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. Salute to March past was given by Mr Paul and Ms Esther who were guest of honours of this ocassion .

Vijeta Hande a student of Std.10 took us down the memory lane when she spoke on the freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, and Subhash Chandra Bose etc who played an important role in Indian independence.

The students of Choir group of Std.8th-10th in their melodious voices sang the Patriotic song- that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the Mother Land. Chhaya Jagtap , a student of class 10, enlightened everyone with importance of being united. Both the speakers exhorted the students to follow the ideals of the great people.

Pratham Shingan ,of Sr KG inspired the audience with motivational speech.

They advised the students to become ideal citizens of the country. Taking the slogan of ‘Unity in Diversity’ forward, the student choir from Std. 5th-7th presented the patriotic song.and made beautiful pyramids . Students of class 10 presented beautiful patriotic skit and dance. The program culminated with Vote of Thanks. . Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and Unity in Diversity.
