INTERNATIONAL TIGER'S DAY

Save the tigers, save our national animal!! Sai Holy Faith High School celebrated International Tiger's Day today. International Tiger Day is observed to raise awareness about tiger conservation. The day was founded in 2010, when the 13 tiger range countries came together to create Tx2 – the global goal to double the number of wild tigers by 2022

The students of Pre-primary were made aware about the need to protect the natural habitat of tigers and to spread awareness about the conservation of tigers. The students made tiger masks

The students of classes 1 and 2 made ‘Tiger puppets’ . They also made badges and hangings to suggest various ways in which the students can make a valuable contribution to this noble cause.

The students of class 3 took the pledge “Tiger Tiger burning bright, will not let you fade from sight, that is my promise and for you we will fight. SAVE the TIGERS!.”

In classes 4 and 5, students made a word cloud using various adjectives, verbs, synonyms and words describing tigers.

Students of classes 6-8 wrote messages and essays to spread awareness on the theme, ‘Don’t let tigers be a part of history’

Secondary section students made project on ‘Save Tigers’ and shared important facts about tigers and their pivotal role in balancing & maintaining the ecosystem. They expressed how these magnificent creatures will be on the verge of extinction if we don’t join hands to save them. With spectacular skits showcasing the pitiful life of a tiger and other inspiring performances, the students encouraged the audience to raise awareness about tiger conservation and actively participate in a global system of preserving our natural resources. Through this ,Sai Holy Faith High School successfully fulfilled its aim of creating environmentally responsible global citizens.
